Washtenaw County Bar Association Law & Justice Fund

Established in 2010 by the Washtenaw County Bar Association, this Fund supports local nonprofits and programs that work to

  • Improve public understanding of the legal system, legal issues, and the role of lawyers in our society;
  • Advance professional legal development and continuing legal education;
  • Promote affordable and meaningful access to the justice system in Washtenaw County; and
  • Improve the effectiveness and fairness of the legal system in Washtenaw County.

"The WCBA is excited to know that we've created a fund that will support charitable law-related projects, programs, and services in our county for many decades to come. It's really a great feeling to consider the benefits of our endowment well after we're gone." ~ Ashwin Patel, WCBA
