Daniel J. DuChene is a general practice attorney, predominately in the areas of estate planning and probate law, family law, real estate law, criminal law, and municipal law. He has successfully litigated in several county district and circuit courts, the Michigan Court of Claims, the Michigan Court of Appeals, and the Michigan Supreme Court. Mr. DuChene graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May, 2013. Prior to graduation, Mr. DuChene worked as a law clerk for his current firm for nearly three years while also working for the Washtenaw County Public Defender, the 14A District Court, and as an in-house legal intern for a medical device manufacturer. Prior to his legal experience, Mr. DuChene was a community journalist and publisher in the Ypsilanti area. Mr. DuChene currently serves on the State Bar of Michigan Committee on Law and the Media and instructs an advanced-level undergraduate class on media law at Eastern Michigan University.
