2018 Judicial Candidates Forum- October 4, 2018

The WCBA, Dispute Resolution Center (DRC), and League Of Women Voters hosted a 2018 Judicial Candidates Forum at the Washtenaw County Learning Resource Center. It was very successful with over 60 people in attendance! Belinda Dulin, Executive Director of the DRC, served as moderator. The 2 candidates running for the 14A-1 District Court Judicial Position, Attorney Thomas Bourque and Judge J. Cedric Simpson, fielded questions for the first part of the forum. The second part of the forum included judges running unopposed this year, Judge Timothy Connors, Judge Darlene O'Brien, and Judge Joseph Burke. The panelists answered questions regarding the critical roles of our judiciary and the local courts.
