Robert F. Gillett
Bob is a graduate of Kenyon College and the University of Michigan Law School. He served as the executive director of the Michigan Advocacy Program (formerly known as Legal Services of South Central Michigan) from 1983-2018. Although he retired from MAP in 2019, he continues to consult with non-profits on organizational, public policy, and litigation issues.
Bob is a past president of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and has received many honors and awards, including the WCBA Patriot Award, the State Bar of Michigan Champion of Justice Award, the ACLU's Jerome Strong Award, and the Michigan State Bar Foundation's Access to Justice Award.
