● 14 years prosecuting major crimes, finishing as Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Jackson County. As a recognized computer crime expert he created a Joint Federal/State Task Force and prosecuted computer crime cases for the Michigan Computer Crime Task Force, rewrote Michigan’s Computer Crimes Statutes (now a model law adopted by the American Legislative Exchange Council), and recently researched and authored a legal memorandum, approved by the Michigan Supreme Court, outlining the legal authority for Michigan District Judges to issue Federal Search Warrants, Subpoenas, and Orders for electronic media and call records, using cell phone tower simulators, pen registers, and trap trace devices.
