Ed served as deputy general counsel for health care at the University of Michigan from 1978 to 2009. Since then he has been on faculty in the UM Medical School Department of ObGyn working on reproductive justice. He teaches in the Medical School, Law School and School of Public Health. He also serves on not for profit boards and is President of the Michigan BioTrust.
