Rick is a shareholder of the law firm of Marcoux Allen, which was founded in 1867 and is Michigan’s third oldest law firm. He works out of the firm’s Ann Arbor and Jackson offices. Rick’s practice is devoted primarily to estate planning, estates and trusts, charitable gifts, and charitable organizations. He particularly enjoys advising philanthropists. Rick is a frequent writer and speaker. Rick is currently a vice chair of the Charitable Planning Committee of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Council (the governing board of the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section), where he serves on the Charitable and Exempt Organizations Committee and serves as an Assistant Editor of the Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Journal. Rick is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan Taxation Section, where he is a member of the Estates and Trust Committee.
